Bulgaria: Bulgaria. 1951. Single sheet. Condition : A uncirculated banknote as shown. ; This early note from Bulgaria honors Georgi Dimitrov, the leader of the Communist regime which assumed power after World War two. The note wasissued in 1951 just a brief time after the United States sevred diplomatic relations with Bulgaria. The back of the note continues the agricultural theme of the 1951 series. The swirling color patterns and extensive watermarking were to guard against forgery. A bright fresh uncirculated banknot. .
