Sobre este artículo
New York: J.Q. Preble. Softcover. Good. Alphabet book. Undated, ca. 1850s. 10.25 x 7 inches, 8 pp printed on one side only, extensively illustrated with hand-colored engravings. A good copy with chips and tears to edges, amateur linen repair to spine resulting in binding being too tight at gutter, with small loss of visible text. Part of Preble's Colored Picture Books series. Each letter of the alphabet is accompanied by an illustration and a short poem that incorporates the names of several words (tree, fruit, and flower-related) beginning with the appropriate letter. A scarce book, with just four copies located in OCLC.
