Metcalfe is described as Author of ‘Rogue’s Island; or The Pirate Lair’; ‘Steady Your Helm’; etc. etc. Gift inscription dated 1910 on front fixed endpaper. Head and foot of spine and corners of boards worn; cloth a little shabby and gilt dulled; inner hinges split; a good copy.
