Published by Blackie & Son, London, Circa 1925. 8vo up to 9½" tall., 286pp. 4 black and white plates illustrated by Walter Paget. Illustrated boards, bevelled edges. In very good condition: inscription to free endpaper, light toning and foxing to outside edges, light spine lean; boards have minimal wear. A World War 1 story. Ferdinand Foch was a French general and served as the Supreme Allied Commander during the First World War.
Lieutenant-Colonel Frederick Sadleir Brereton, (1872-1957) was a British Army medical officer and an author of children's books on heroic deeds conducted in the name of the British Empire. See pictures for additional available titles by Captain F.S. Brereton
