First edition, very good cloth hardcover shows light soil and shelf wear to covers, mild soil at page edges, bookseller sticker at rear pastedown, mild wrinkle down the middle of first 60 pges or so where the pages got turned over most likely and with a bit fo waviness to pages as well, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows rubbing, light soil and light edgewear that includes tiny chips and tears. 300 pages with illustrated endpapers. Another work from the American adventurer and naturalist that shares exploits from a life of exploration.
