Yellow pictorial cloth. Slightly soiled, near fine. Katherine E. Gladfelter was Director of Young People's Work of the Board of National Missions of the Presbyterian Church. In 1927 she visited the territory of Alaska, where much of the material printed in this title reflects her contacts with Alaskan children and their parents, as well as with missionaries. The book contains historical material about Alaska, short stories, folklore, and much information about the native people of Alaska.
