London: John Lane, c1905. Vellum. Very Good Indeed. 7" by 4.5". Not Stated. A beautifully bound book of poetry. Bound in full vellum by Riviere and Son for the Army and the Navy. A collection of poetical works whose intention is to appeal to the emotions - to bring refreshment, encouragement, inspiration, and hope to those who are toiling up the steep path of life. With decorative end-papers and frontispieces. In a full vellum binding with gilt detail to the board and spine by Riviere and Son. Externally, in lovely condition with just some handling marks to boards. Internally firmly bound. Pages are clean and bright throughout with just the occasional spot background spotting to the endpapers. With previous owners ink inscription dates 1906. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
