Light/moderate shelf wear (three corners through), spot of white paint at heel, spine label faded/toned (text still legible), front label faded, front hinge starting, rather exceptional bookplate at front pastedown, else tight, bright and unmarred. Black cloth boards, purple paper label at spine and front board, gilt lettering and decorative elements, frontispiece. Small 8vo. 192pp. Illus. (b/w plates).
