Paris: Amiot-Dumont, 1955. First Edition . Original Wraps. Fine/Very Good. FIRST PRINTING of the first French edition. TEXT IN FRENCH. Inscribed and SIGNED by Bernard Pierre on the short title page, dated 1966. This is the french edition of what was translated into English with title A Mountain Called Nun Kun. Original printed wrappers with dust jacket. The jacket has some rubbing at the corner tips, and a small 5mm chip upper front and spine corner. The book is in very good condition, clean, no foxing, solid binding, other than the signed inscription there is no writing or marking on any pages, usual age-tanning of the pages. Many of the pages are unopened indicating that this example of the book was never read. The book measures 212mm tall x 158mm, and has 199 pages, 16 b/w photos, 5 maps, sketches. PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL ITEM BEING OFFERED.
