Octavo (22.75cm.); single sheet folded into 4-panelled pamphlet; upper panel illustrated with a cartoon depicting a robot labelled "Labor-Displacing Machine," standing on a pay-roll sheet, sweeping away the human workers. Light wear; Very Good or better. Undated, but probably issued for the 1932 Massachusetts gubernatorial election, with Alfred Baker Lewis on the Socialist ticket. Text by Norman Thomas's Vice Presidential candidate. DIfferent printings of this text appeared in varying formats to support socialist candidates in a number of state elections (we have noted variants for New York, Minnesota, and Massachusetts).
