In the original cloth binding. In the original clipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart with minor shelf wear to the extremities. Discolouration to the cloth, heaviest to the head and tail of spine and boards. Off setting to endpapers. Dust wrapper is sound. Scattered chipping, heaviest to head and tail of spine and edge wear to extremities. Handling marks to wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper dated October 1944. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
