Van Slyck Professional and Miscellaneous Library, Cortlandville, NY" with handwritten book number and price (note: Edward Delavan VanSlyck was editor of Hamilton Republican serving as 1st LT company D 76th NYS Volunteers in the Civil War. Fought in 7 battles and was wounded 3 times)
