Pages tanned, fold-out maps a bit wrinkled but present and intact. Original owner's signature on title page, otherwise pages clean. Textblock sturdy, could be rebound by an expert.

Dublin: Thomas Morton Bates. G. 1797. 2nd Edition. Leather. Second edition with a number of editions. 5 1/4" x 8 3/4" book bound i n leather with gilt stamping and lettering on the spine. A Fair to Goo d copy. The front leather board is scratched and rubbed. Corners are r ubbed and bumped. Chip at the upper 1" of the spine. The year "1797" h as been hand written in gold on the spine. The red leather title label on the spine is still attached and readable. Some cracking to the spi ne. The book lacks both front fly leafs. The title page has a 3" hole near its lower third that affects a couple of words of text. The title page's lower right corner has a 2" chip. The book is otherwise comple te textually with no missing pages. Some mild foxing, a little darkeni ng on a few pages. Shipping weight is three pounds. Additional shippin g charges will apply to international orders. .

Older inked name at top of title page. Tight and otherwise a generally clean copy.
