Sobre este artículo
Berkeley, CA: Privately Printed. VG+/VG-. 1952. Stated First Edition. Hardcover. VG+ in a VG- DJ with light edge wear, some fading to DJ panels. ; Signed by the authors on an early blank leaf. In addition, the tribute to Robert Sibley from the memorial service following his death in 1958 is taped to the same page. On the front of of the tribute, Carol Sibley has written a note to their colleagues at the University of California, Berkeley, Julia Meriam and her husband, the noted engineering professor, James Lathrop Meriam. Also laid in is the envelope in which the tribute was mailed to Mrs. Meriam in 1958. Sibley was involved in the Alumni Association at Cal, and Meriam was a distinguished professor of engineering there and later Dean of Engineering at Duke University before retiring to Santa Barbara, California in 1972. An interesting association copy which provides an insider account of life at the University in the 1950s and before, in spite of the fact that the mounting of the tribute on the same page as the authorial inscriptions makes for an awkward presentation. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
