Spine slightly cocked, blind stamp of author, title and illustration on front cover, faded gilt title on spine, some rubbing along edges, hinge crack at glossy photo and title page, yellowing pages, 256 pages. 4 b/w glossy plates in addition to the color frontispiece. Last one before page 255 is detached but present.. Illus. by Blampied, Edmund. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket.
