This is the exciting story of barnstorming in the roaring 20s featuring Clyde "Upside-Down" Pangborn, recognized by his peers as the top pilot of the unreliable airplanes of those dare-devil days that were part of the Gates Flying Circus. He was also a very capable pilot who made the first non-stop flight across the Pacific Ocean, a participant in the MacRobertson England to Australia air race of 1934, and was a CPT in the RAF Ferry Command in WWII making more than 180 ocean flights in all types of aircraft. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
