Chicago: Urantia Foundation, 1955. 1st . Hardcover. Fine/very good. Bound in publisher's original blue cloth with cover and spine stamped in gilt. 2,097 pages. Text page size is 10 x 6 3/4 inches. Also included is the rare original dust jacket with minor soiling and sun fading plus a crease at the spind. Only a few tiny chips in the dust jacket at the head anf heel of the spine. The book is much better than it sounds since finding it in such a good dust jacket is much more difficult than one would imagine, even for a book only sixty-four years old.
Sinopsis
The Urantia Book (sometimes called The Urantia Papers or The Fifth Epochal Revelation) is a spiritual and philosophical book that discusses God, Jesus, science, cosmology, religion, history and destiny. It originated in Chicago, Illinois, USA, sometime between 1924 and 1955, but its authorship is unclear. There has been much debate and speculation on how the papers were produced.
