Encyclopedic reference work on the casualties of United States Mechant vessels during WWII. By the end of the war, some 5600 of these military/civilian ships had played a role. Each entry provides the name, tonnage, year built, type, owner, etc of each vessels along with a paragrah on its damage or destruction and eventual disposition. Fine, bright example, bookplate front pastedown, and small ownership stamp and notation from an historical society. Issued without dust jacket. Quite scarce.
