Dr. Patev was born in t939 in the village of Racovica, region of Vidin. ... In 1961 he got a degree in History at Sofia University. Between 1962 and 1965 Prof. Pantev worked in the History Museumin Vidin. Now he is a professor, doctor of history, president of the Bulgarian association of American research, member of Parliament.
