New York: Valentine's Manual Inc., 1923 VERY GOOD. Clean, totally unmarked and firmly bound in half-leather hardcover. Marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Black leather spine and corners with olive green cloth over boards; spine is gilt titled and has 5 raised bands. A few leaves chipped at thumb edges due to a careless cutting apart of pages; edge gilt dulled, otherwise internally fine. Cover is moderately rubbed but clean and sturdy. Profusely illustrated with both sepia toned illustrations and plates: photos, drawings and reproductions, as well as six color plates - including frontispiece with view of Gracie Mansion and Carl Schurz Park, and a double-page view of lower Broadway. 5-1/4 x 7-5/8"; xix + 386 pages. Half-Leather. Very Good. 8vo.
