Three-quarter leather with gilt stamped spine label and marbled paper over boards, frontis silhouette portrait of Linn by B. Tanner, xxvi, 97 pages, biographical sketch of Linn by his brother-in-law, Charles Brockden Brown. Leather is worn, offsetting from the leather on the endpapers, penciled previous owner's name on front flyleaf, offsetting from the silhouette portrait on both the title page and the preceding page, interior pages are lightly toned, some occasional very scattered light foxing, short tear in blank margin page 44; otherwise, the interior is clean with no writing or marks, and the binding is sound.
