Some wear to spine, minor chipping to label, former owners' names on front free endpaper, map supplied in facsimile, faint scattered foxing, else a very good copy. HOWES E-128. Buck 324: "Considerable information on transportation, routes, etc." Streeter Sale 1417: "One of the great prairie immigration pamphlets, very informative from the point of view of the beginning of agriculture on the prairies." The plates show Hussey's Reaping Machine and Page's Ditching and Banking Machine, the plate shows a blueprint for a farmhouse with bank and ditch.
