Sextodecimo (15cm); sewn; issued in stiff paper wrappers, lettered from the types of the title page; 4 leaves- title and text; frontispiece; vignette designed by E.J Clark, printed in red, is repeated throughout, occupying half of each page; light rubbing; upper rear corner of back cover has tiny nick; Very Good+, lacking the envelope.

Inspiration for the 1909 Broadway production A Fool There Was by Porter Emerson Browne and subsequently the 1915 silent film "A Fool There Was," starring Theda Bara. LIVINGSTON, 151; (wikipedia).
