"'Varianti' è un libro-progetto interamente concepito dall'Autore, sia nella scelta delle immagini che nei testi. Guido Guidi ha immaginato il libro come la più naturale sequenza di immagini che si susseguono col ritmo di una narrazione intima, pura, come quella, semplice, delle fotografie di un album. Tutte le immagini che datano dal 1969 al 1994 sono riprodotte in grandezza originale e nella loro più totale interezza, come oggetti leggeri, con i segni che l'uso e il passare del tempo ha lasciato su di loro, appoggiati sulla pagina (dal risvolto di copertina) / "Varianti is a project book conceived entirely by the author, both as regards the choice of images and the text.
