Suitable for framing. Slightly browned at edges. Quadal (1736-1808), painter of portraits and animal subjects. Born in Moravia and trained in Vienna, from 1767 his career took him over all Europe, including Lonon and Dublin, whilst in London in 1793, he published his own prints (including ÔA Variety of Tame and Wild AnimalsÕ) [-British Museum, bio].
