Contemporary or publisher's calf backed marbled boards with printed lettering piece on upper board, boards rather rubbed and worn at edges, red calf spine faded in places but good, occassional light spotting on some of the plates but mercifully very little; a very nice copy. The first edition was published in 1820 and numerous editions followed with differing plate counts, this 1826 edition is complete with 25 plates and the map.
