Tall 8vo. 3.5 x 8.5 which folds out to oblong folio accordion-style to 14 x 8.5 in. w/ [8 pp (unnumbered)], w/ 15 paint samples tipped-in, self-printed colour-illustrated softcovers, (minor dustsoiling, shelfwear); 19, [1] pp. Numerous photo illustrations, text illustrations, self-printed softcovers in tan & black (minor dustsoiling, shelfwear), still VG set from the library of Henry A. Heider (1892-1969), and Russell E. Heider (1919-2005), Portland, OR carpenters & building contractors. First edition, thus, of these scarce paint sample catalogues on the eve of the Great Depression. The paint, colour chart, and instructions offer an invaluable guide for design choices at the onset of the 1930s, and the instruction guide offers excellent tips in using Velumina Wallhide paints. The colour names include Sea Foam Green, Blossom Pink, Horizon Blue, Cascade Blue, Palmetto Green, Mist Gray, and more. No copies located in Worldcat.
