Illustrations. Affectionate note to previous owner from a traveling companion, commemorating "a day in Venice 11th Dec 1918." FAIR condition only. Front hinge is cracking. Old staple holes at the four corners of the black free front endpaper. Please note also that among the List of Illustrations in the Table of Contents, a "Plan of Canals" and a "Plan of S. Marco" are called for. The San Marco illustration is present but the Plan of Canals is NOT present.
