The author of 'Lincoln At Gettysburg', here provides an in-depth history of Venice, it's rulers, artists, merchants, laborers, the men and women who have created one of the greatest cities of the world. Illustrated with more than 130 works of art, 30 in color. 416 pages, with Index, Notes, and a section of color photos, 7-1/2" X 9-3/4". The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Wheat colored hardcover boards, with cloth covered spine. Boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or creased, no edge wear. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. Some light rubbing wear to the back of the dust jacket at the bottom left side near the UPC code. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
