Scarce, Out Of Print, Book. Spine was lightly faded but has been redyed to match dark blue boards. Boards and pages are clean, unmarked, bright, tightly bound and sharp cornered. Boards are blue cloth with gilt lettering on front and spine. If interested, I have many additional volumes available in this Yale Shakespeare Series. "Venus and Adonis is a poem written in 1592-1593, with a plot based on passages from Ovid's Metamorphoses. It is a complex, kaleidoscopic work, using constantly shifting tone and perspective to present contrasting views of the nature of love." .
