Clay cloth with gilt lettering, 8vo, 80 pages, illustrated throughout by Rockwell Kent; head and tail of spine turned in, sweet inscription on front free endpaper, pages age toned; dust jacket quite toned, spine has been repaired with scotch tape on interior and exterior, spine itself is grubby, tape present on creases and corners as well, now protected in mylar cover. A handsome copy of this first release of Shakespeare's Venus & Adonis illustrated by Rockwell Kent that was not a limited edition.
