1892. Professionally matted, dimensions of visible photo are 21-1/4" x 16-5/8. This photo has an inscription "To Hazen S. Pingree and my old friends at City Hall Very Truly Yours, Thomas A. Edison December 18 1892". We purchased is from Profiles in History as a signed item but since then doubt has been cast about the authenticity of the signature. We are not selling it as a signed item. It is however an unusual item. A little flaw across Edison's vest projecting down from his cigar holding hand. A 1" tear and a couple of small scrapes at the bottom edge. See the photo. Otherwise photo is in nice condition..
