All the edges are gilt. There is some light soiling to the spine & the bottom edges of the covers. xxxiv, [1] leaf & 305 pages. There is an owner's ink name on the front endpaper. Black-and-white frontispiece & profuse black-and-white textual illustrations by Hugh Thomson. Very good.
