Sobre este artículo
Barcelona: Eulalia Piferrer Vidua, 1785. First edition. Hardcover. Good condition. Sextodecimo (6 x 4"). (14) 253 (2)pp. Bound in parchment with brown lettering and ruling on spine. Conversations about vices, moral, courtship and theology.
Curious work that defends moderation and good tone in the gatherings of the nobility, attacking the frivolity of certain unemployed ladies and some ecclesiastical and literary men without office or benefit. These gatherings speak at length of how the courtship of a lady was carried out, although it is full of moral reproofs.
Text in Spanish. Light wear and rubbing of covers. Worm holes in upper margin at foredge, diminishing towards the end and last fifty pages with worm holes, minor loss of text. Interior gutters reinforced with Japan tissue. Protected in modern mylar. Bibliographic references: Aguilar 6, 3616, BNP 144, columna 741, Palau 244507.
