Size Quarto, 9.75" tall, 271 pages including index. Crimson cloth covered boards with gilt titles and vignette illustration to the spine, with the dust jacket. Book condition very good, corners and spine ends rubbed, spine slightly faded, some light white marks to very edge of covers, previous owner's name to front end-paper otherwise contents are clean. Dust jacket condition good plus, top corners, head of spine rubbed and chipped, 2 small pieces torn away from top edge of front panel, folds rubbed, a few tiny rubbed patches to the panels, inside of jacket discoloured a litt at top by spine and along inside of front fold, not price clipped. With 118 pages of illustrations and 10 colour plates.
