Sobre este artículo
London: MacGibbon & Kee, 1950 . First edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 8.5" by 5.5". None. The first edition of Colin MacInnes's first published novel in the original dust wrapper. First edition of To the Victors the Spoils by Colin MacInnes in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. This is the author's first published novel. MacInnes was an English novelist and journalist, who's work mainly focussed on London youth and Black culture in the 1950s. He typically wrote on themes of sexuality, race, drugs, and urban squalor. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. To the dust wrapper, there is some wear to the extremities resulting in a few small tears, some light age toning and light spotting. To the binding, there is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The hinges are slightly strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some light age toning. Very Good
