Hardback, 1950, first edition, illustrated, published by Heath Cranton Limited, London, 304 pages + xvi. Signed/undedicated inscription on author's thanks page: "Very sincerely from Joseph Fenston 20/12/50".
Octavo/8vo, measures around 8 3/4" by 5 5/8" by 1 1/4". No dust jacket. Dark blue cloth binding, yellow lettering to spine. Signs of shelf-wear, slightly bumped corners, a little denting to spine. Binding quite firm. Page edges a little browned, marked and scuffed but reasonably clean. Page surfaces clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information
