Octavo. xix, 461, [3]pp., with half-title and three pages of advertisements at the back. Contemporary tree calf, re-backed with original boards retained, gilt decorated spine with dark red and black titling labels, later laid paper endleaves. Armorial bookplate of Viscount Birkenhead on front pastedown. Wear to the edges of the boards and corners, very good with slight foxing. A handsome copy.
