London: C & J Rivington et al, 1829 Calf on boards with gilt decoration and raised bands on spine. Cover corners are bumped with some discoloration of calf. Sporadic scuffs. Spine has portion missing at head and 25mm piece missing from foot. Title block has chips. Previous owners inscription on front paste down with foxing on end papers and prelims carrying through to early folios. Body of text has sharp folios and clean pages though there is sporadic foxing.
