Sobre este artículo

Pan Books, London and Sydney, 1979. First Edition. Softcover. Very Good Condition. Colour illustrated paperback binding with black coloured titles to the front panel and black and blue coloured titles to the back strip. The author was one of the most inattentive scientists and science fiction writers of the 20th century, and these essays are as close as an autobiography as the author got – at that time. Quoting from the rear panel blurb " ... His (Clarke's) enthusiasm is so immense that he finds it practically impossible to be dull and his account of his 'continuing love affair' with Sri Lanka, his deep sea diving, his work on the film 2001 are as absorbing as anything he ever wrote ..." A previous owner has covered the book in a clear contact plastic. Tanning of the text block edges and pages with just some mild rubbing of the contact plastic. A previous owner has placed the numbers 401 – two the top left hand corner of the verso of the front panel and 533 to the top right hand corner of the half title page. first edition by this publisher.
