Red boards with gold type embossed on spine and cover. 8vo. 5-3/4 x 8-5/8 inches. 1272 pp. "Literary Guild" is printed on the spine of the dust jacket, but book was published in the same year as The Viking Press first edition, using the same sheets. Book is in Very Good plus condition. Binding is square, covers clean, inner pages with slight browning to end papers but othewise clean and bright. Dust jacket is Very Good with some chipping and creasing to edges and a small tear at the top of the spine. Heavy volume, could be extra cost for shipping.
