The story of the Hiawatha village, Michisaagiig (Mississauga Ojibwe) First Nations reserve, located on the north shore of Rice Lake, Ontario, east of the Otonabee River. Illustrated with colour and black and white photographs. Includes a pull-out reproduced plan of the village from a Department of Indian Affairs survey. The book was planned and researched by the Hiawatha Village Book Committee, and is signed by several of the members on the committee on the page with their photograph. .
