Sobre este artículo
London: Allison and Busby, 1990. First edition. Cloth. As New/Fine. 9.5" by 6". None. A copy of Philip Callow's biography of Vincent van Gogh. Born in the Netherlands in 1853, Van Gogh died aged 37 after a long fight with mental illness in the Cloître St Paul, St-Rémy de Provence. However, during his short life he created a vast array of artworks in an ever-developing style which found fruition in France. Van Gogh's name is now synonymous with the Post-Impressionist visual arts movement and is famous worldwide. Callow's biography traces van Gogh's life from birth to death, detailing all the high-points and low-points in between. The first edition. In a cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine, in original, unclipped dustwrapper. Externally smart. Dustwrapper has light edgewear and handling marks. Very light shelfwear to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. As New
