Sobre este artículo

"Vines and Vine Culture" by Archibald F. Barron. 1900; Journal of Horticulture; London. Fourth edition - revised and enlarged. The book is nicely illustrated with drawings and figures throughout. There are seven pages of publisher's advertisements at the back, some of which are illustrated. Here are some examples of the contents: Disbudding Vines; Classes of Grapes; Manures for Vines; To Destroy Insects; Fungoid Diseases of Vines; Bottling of Grapes; Hipped-roof Vineries; Warts on Vine Leaves; Over-cropping Vines; Raising Vines from Seeds; Thinning Grapes; Mealy Bug; American Grapes; Black Rot; Baskets for Packing Grapes for Market; Vine Beetle...and much more.

Condition:
Light mottling to the cloth on the front cover (these are patches where the green cloth color has partially faded); small stains on the back cover. Bright gilt on the front cover and spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. The front end papers and title page are tanned. An occasional random page has lines of text underlined in pen, and a tiny "x" or check-mark written in the margins. Overall the book is in Good condition.
