A fine copy in fine slipcase. Another handsome publication from the Yolla Bolly Press. First published in 1885, Hardy's account provides a uniquely detailed and comprehensive account of early California winemaking. It may be regarded as the first book about California wine. No copy of the original edition is known to exist in the United States.
