Illustrated with a floorplan to the frontispiece.Ngaio Marsh was one of the leading Queens of Crime during the Golden Age of Detective Fiction, alongside Agatha Christie, Margery Allingham, and Dorothy L. Sayers.An excellent collector's copy. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light fading to the head and tail of the spine. Very minor bumping to the extremities. Ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Bookseller's label to the front paste down. Light edge wear to the dust wrapper, resulting in small chips to the head of the spine, and a small closed tear to the head of the front wrap. Some light handling marks to the wraps. Very small remnants of a label having been previously adhered to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
Sinopsis
Vintage Murder is a detective novel by Ngaio Marsh; it is the fourth novel to feature Roderick Alleyn, and was first published in 1937. The plot centers on a traveling theatrical troupe in New Zealand. One of the cast members was a minor character in Enter a Murderer, and refers to that case early in the story.
