Tipografia Manu Editora Ltda, 1957. Hardcover. Good. Signed. RARE book of poems published in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. AUTOGRAPHED by author John Friedmann and inscribed by him to the volume's former owner, date & place of autograph 1959, Seoul, Korea. The book is sturdy and well-bound, with no dust jacket (as issued?). The bookcover is a brightly colored decorated pastedown over yellow cloth. Cover (with white background) is shelf-rubbed and lightly soiled, with a couple of small spots of staining about corn-kernel-sized. The book is unmarked except for the autograph on the first free endpage. Abstract illustrations by Carvalho accompany the poems in English and in German by Friedmann.
