Torino: Tipografia Bianco, 1824. Leather. Good+. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Two volumes: 192pp.; 188pp. Preface by Carlo Giuseppe Mantegazza. Beautifully bound in full dark red leather armorial bindings with gilt lettering and decorations to spines. Gilt rule to borders of boards with lovely blind stamps to covers. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Marker-ribbons present, though admit to some wear. Several minor dings to extremities of volumes with light wear to covers. Minor interior wear, with mild creasing here and there, as well as minor pieces of a few corners missing. Some wear to front endpapers of volume 1, where papers had been adhering to one another. Mild foxing. Texts clean and bindings tight. An beautiful copy of this rare printing
