This work was written by American writer and humourist, Frank Richard Stockton. The work tells the story of Kroudhr, a man who cannot die and the adventures that he has experienced during his long life. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with a very slight lean, minor fading to the spine and light rubbing to the extremities and joints. Past owner's stamp to the front pastedown with spotting to the endpapers and light offsetting to the front. Internally binding strained in places with cords showing. Pages generally bright with occasional spotting. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
