Eyre & Spottiswode, 1959-01-01. 1st. Softcover. Good. Plain brown paper covers with a pasted on front panel label. Probable advance copy (proof?) with no date on title page and just a printer's statement on the copyright page. The covers are edge rubbed, have faint diagonal and edge wrinkles, a more pronounced (5 1/2")diagonalbottom rear panel crease, and the spine is canted. There is light edge wear to some of the text leaves and all are faintly toned.
